The Smallsword Standard 2 continues the philosophy of the Standard Line by Feather Smallswords, offering an accessible yet refined weapon designed specifically for fencers.
This model is based on our legendary 2021 design of Model 2—one of the most recognizable pieces in our history. For the Standard 2, that original concept has been carefully redefined with improved finishing, greater precision in construction, and elevated overall quality while preserving the balance and character that made Model 2 so successful.
Created as an entry-level smallsword for fencers, the Standard 2 focuses on practical handling, durability, and clean aesthetics. The model is equipped with a knuckle bow, adding increased finger protection and confidence during training and sparring. This additional guard element enhances safety while maintaining the elegant lines of the hilt.
As part of the Standard Line, the Standard 2 is produced in a simplified specification to ensure accessibility while maintaining the craftsmanship and visual clarity characteristic of our work. All Standard Line models come fitted exclusively with the Economy Epee #5 blade, delivering consistent performance in a practical and economical configuration.
